Congratulations to former Wrentham Animal Control Office Sue Thibedeau for being named the Animal Control Officer of the Year in Massachusetts. Thibedeau was given the award for her work as the current animal control officer for Foxborough.

3. King Philip School Committee Meeting Tonight

The KP School Committee will meet tonight at 7:00 p.m. The committee is expected to hear a report on the case for a turf field at KP High School.

 

4. Local Radio Station Brings Home Award

Norfolk-based radio station WDIS and broadcaster Jim Lucas were recently awarded second place at the Massachusetts Broadcasters Association's Sound Bites Awards for Best Sports Feature.

The winning broadcast was a 2012 King Philip basketball game against Sharon.
