Plainridge Brings in Las Vegas Consutant to Help in Slot Parlor Bid

Silverton Casino in Las Vegas will be helping Plainridge in their attempt to obtain the slot parlor license, according to a report in the Sun Chronicle.

Plainridge Racecourse is bringing in a Las Vegas consultant to help them expanded to include slot machines, according to a report in the Sun Chronicle.

Silverton Casino of Las Vegas will be assisting Plainridge as they attempt to secure the license, which is expected to be awarded in December. Raynham Park is also in contention for the one slot machine parlor license.

“We see Plainridge as the strongest contender for the class II license in Massachusetts and we think we bring the right type of experience to the team as this project aggressively moves forward,” Craig Cavileer, president of Silverton, said in the Sun Chronicle article.
