Foreclosures up in Wrentham in May, Report Says

Foreclosures up in Wrentham in May 2012.

Wrentham had seven new foreclosure petitions in May, compared to none last May, a new report says.

Wrentham's year-to-date foreclosure petitions was 15, up from eight in May 2011, The Warren Group said in a recent press release.

Statewide, foreclosure petitions "more than doubled year-over-year - rising to 1,724 from 699 in May 2011. Petitions have surpassed the 1,000 mark every month since July," the firm reported.

Wrentham had one foreclosure deeds, or completed foreclosures, in both May 2011 and May 2012, the firm reported.

Wrentham's year-to-date completed foreclosures total was seven, compared to four in May 2011.

Statewide, foreclosure deeds "increased more than 32 percent to 755 in May from 571 in May 2011," The Warren Group reported.

  • Year-to-date foreclosure petitions: 10 in May 2012, up from 6 in May 2011.
  • Foreclosure deeds: 0 in May 2012, down from 1 in May 2011.
  • Year-to-date foreclosure deeds: 4 in May 2012, down from 5 in May 2011.

Dedham:

  • Foreclosure petitions: 3 in May 2012, up from 2 in May 2011.
  • Year-to-date foreclosure petitions: 27 in May 2012, up from 15 in May 2011.
  • Foreclosure deeds: 1 in May 2012, the same as in May 2011.
  • Year-to-date foreclosure deeds: 9 in May 2012, up from 8 in May 2011.

Dover:

  • Foreclosure petitions: 0 in May 2012, the same as in May 2011.
  • Year-to-date foreclosure petitions: 3 in May 2012, up from 2 in May 2011.
  • Foreclosure deeds: 0 in May 2012, the same as in May 2011.
  • Year-to-date foreclosure deeds: 3 in May 2012, up from 0 in May 2011.

Easton:

  • Foreclosure petitions: 10 in May 2012, up from 1 in May 2011.
  • Year-to-date foreclosure petitions: 43 in May 2012, up from 10 in May 2011.
  • Foreclosure deeds: 1 in May 2012, up from 0 in May 2011.
  • Year-to-date foreclosure deeds: 5 in May 2012, up from 4 in May 2011.

Foxborough:

  • Foreclosure petitions: 4 in May 2012, up from 2 in May 2011.
  • Year-to-date foreclosure petitions: 14 in May 2012, up from 7 in May 2011.
  • Foreclosure deeds: 1 in May 2012, up from 0 in May 2011.
  • Year-to-date foreclosure deeds: 29 in May 2012, up from 4 in May 2011.

  • Foreclosure petitions: 2 in May 2012, up from 0 in May 2011.
