Wrentham Cultural Council to Turn Trash into Art

The group will be literally creating art out of trash on Saturday, August 4 at the Wrentham Developmental Denter.

On Saturday, August 4, 2012, the Aliens will be arriving at the Wrentham Developmental Center, 1 - 4 p.m. and they will be planting their garden. Not a flash mob or a cash mob, this will be a trash mob.

A collaboration between the Wrentham Cultural Council and the Wrentham Developmental Center, this project developed from the March Cultural Council Forum when thirty members of the Wrentham community gathered to explore ways to connect through the arts, humanities and sciences. Members of the Wrentham Recycling Committee will participate.

The “trash” teams will plan to create giant sculptures of aliens and their garden from recycled materials. Come join the fun, bring your family and friends and above all your imagination. Signs will point you in the right direction if you don’t see the aliens first.
