Sharon Concert Band will perform traditional music from Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales with their “Celtic Celebration”. Guests include Ballet performance group Dance Prism, Dunleavy Shaffer School of Irish Dance, Tenor Robert Caldeira and accordionist Jack Martin.
Featured selections include: “At Kitty O’Shea’s”— with its uptempo jigs that are both gentle and rollicking —as well as tender ballads, such as Frank Tichelli’s “Loch Lomand” and Samuel R. Hazo’s “Perthshire Majesty”.
