Boston Music Award Winners to Perform in Wrentham

BMA winners Girls, Guns, and Glory will be at The Moonshine Music Series at White Barn Farm on August 25.

Ready for some tremendous alt-country? Then join Girls, Guns and Glory and Sarah and the Tallboys on August 25 at 3 p.m. at The Moonshine Music Series at White Barn Farm in Wrentham as the four-time Boston Music Award (BMA) winner, and current BMA winner of “Americana Act of the Year,” heat up the stage.

Girls, Guns, and Glory is a celebration of sweet and tasty, fun loving music that is simultaneously casual and complex. The band combines elements of old school country, early rock ‘n’ roll, and Americana to deliver their own brand of music. Helmed by Ward Hayden, and backed by Chris Hersch, Josh Kiggans, and Paul Dilley, the band explodes on the stage. Their supercharged live sets seamlessly flow from honky tonk originals, to covers of Johnny Cash tunes, and back again to country rock.

Girls, Guns, and Glory are coming off of a great year having just won their fourth Boston Music Award, this time in the Americana category, and are continuing to tour in support of their acclaimed album, Sweet Nothings.  This summer sees them traveling the East Coast with tour dates and festival appearances all over the eastern seaboard including hits at the prestigious Musikfest in Bethlehem PA, their second appearance at the Bristol TN Rhythm and Roots Festival, Old 78 Farm festival in Warwick, MA, along with stops in New York City, New London, Brasher Falls NY, Lexington KY, Plattsburgh NY and much more.
