Arvidson said he’s been playing on and off informally with Intransition for nearly 20 years, and they started gigging out about four years ago.

He said in that time, he’s met many other musicians in the local area, and thought it would be a good idea to get them together for a day of music and fun at the Tavern.

Arvidson said he’s hung out with so much talent over the years he wanted to get the bands together both for a scheduled show and jam sessions. He said many members of the different bands will join each other on stage throughout the afternoon and evening.

Arvidson added it will be somewhat of a family show, as his son and daughter will join them on stage.

The show also features Aftermath, which includes owner of the Young Artist Studio Rebecca Zitomer, her husband and their daughter performing.

Bands included for the show include Intransition, Aftermath, the Berkshire Valley Boys, The Father and Sons' Band, Short for Richard, the Gingerbread Boys and special guests Roy Parker, Rob Herrick and more.
