1. It will be partly sunny and very humid, according to WHDH-TV's weather forecast, will temperatures in the upper 80s. There is a 40-percent chance of a storm last day into the evening.
2. The Wrentham Conservation Commission will be meeting tonight at 7 p.m. at town hall in the second floor conference room.
3. Don't forget the Wrentham American Legion Post 225 Chicken BBQ, 592 South St., Wrentham, Saturday, Aug. 24, at 1 p.m. Tickets are $15 or two for $25, kids $5 (10 and under). All proceeds support veteran's organizations/services and scholarships. The donation includes a 1/2 chicken (1/4 for kids), side dishes and kids' games.
4. King Philip Cheerleading tryouts will be from 4:30-6 p.m. at King Philip High School.
5. Sweatt Beach will be closing Aug. 25. With warmer weather expected over the next few days, it will be a good opportunity to get and enjoy it.
