West Nile Virus Found in Wrentham

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health today announced that the West Nile Virus has been detected in mosquitoes collected from Wrentham.

In 2012, 6,828 mosquito samples were tested for West Nile Virus and 307 tested positive. Wrentham had zero positive samples in 2012.
