1. The Fiske Public Library will be holding "Touch a Truck" today at 10 a.m. Truck enthusiasts are invited to hear a good "truck story," check out a truck book, touch and climb on a DPW truck in the library parking lot. The program is free, but canned good donations for the Wrentham Food Pantry.
2. You can trade and swap your unwanted coupons at the Plainville Library. The coupons are located in the study corrals next to the men's room. There is also a collection box for non-perishable food items for the Plainville Food Pantry.
3. The Wrentham American Legion Post 225 will be holding their annual Chicken BBQ fundraiser, Saturday, Aug. 24, at 592 South St.. Post members will be serving BBQ chicken along with a variety of sides. The cost is $15 per person (two for $25, $5 for children 10 and under). There will be a horseshoe tournament, raffles, children's games and a fire truck on site.

4. Sweatt Beach in Wrentham is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
5. The Dixie Diehards will performing on the Wrentham Recreation Department's Concert on the Common, Aug. 11, at 6:30 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Wrentham Sweatt Fund.
