The Massachusetts Hospital School will celebrate their very first Winterfest on their beautiful grounds at 3 Randolph St. on Saturday, Dec. 1. This is a wonderful, family oriented event with activities for all.
There will be a Preview Party on Friday evening, Nov. 30 from 6 - 8 p.m. The cost of the preview party is $25. per person. There will be musical entertainment and Hayrides with Santa.
On Saturday, Dec. 1, come have breakfast with Santa Claus at 9 a.m. You can purchase tickets on line as reservations are required. Price fixed menu $15.
From 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Saturday, the event is open to the public, $6 per person. The acivities will be on the campus with the Festival of Trees and Craft show at Morrison Hall, Photos with Santa Claus also at Morrison Hall, then take a hayride with Santa just outside. Craft Activities will be in the gym area and Aramark Retail will be open all day.
Sunday, Dec. 2, it's the Festival of Trees and Doors and is part of the event where you can purchase raffle tickets and potentially win an amazing new tree or front door decoration. As a first time event we are looking for a lot of ideas and help.
Also on Sunday, Dec. 2, it's the Jingle Bell 5K Fun Run. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and race begins at 10 a.m. Register for the run here: http://www.coolrunning.com/major/12/winterfest/.
Get your pets in on the action with Photos with Santa at Morrison Hall on Monday, Dec. 3 from 3-5 p.m.
The Massachusetts Hospital School hopes that you and your family will start a new holiday tradition. Ticket Price: $10 per person with Children under 2: Free.
The raffle drawing for the trees will be done on Friday, Dec. 7, at 9 a.m. All winners will be notified of their win, and will need to arrange pick up of the trees.
