Congratulations to the King Philip High football team for their season-opening win over Middleboro, 35-13, Saturday in Middleboro. After falling behind, 7-0, early in the game, the Warriors took over, posting 35 points before the Sachems added a late score. Christian Flaherty and Joey Johnston each scored a pair of touchdowns. The Warriors will be playing their home opener Friday night against Westwood at 7 p.m.
Underclassmen pictures will be taken today at King Philip High School from 7:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. and senior portraits by Lifetouch will be taken 2:30 to 8 p.m.
