Five Things You Need to Know: Thursday, Jan. 24

It will be another cold day, so make sure you dress warm.

1. Get ready for the deep freeze part two, according to WHDH.  will only  5. Thursday, it will be a little warmed at 15-20 degrees, but the wind chills will be the same. The good news is that it will be sunny.  

2. Remember a winter parking ban is on the streets of Wrentham from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. until April 1.

3. Christmas Tree pick up in Plainville will be the first week of February. Trees should be curbside on or before Feb. 4. Trees can also be dropped off at the ecycling Center which is open Mondays 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. and Saturdays 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.. The recycling Center will be closed the month of February.

4. Dancing with the Wrentham Stars, a first event sponsored by Wrentham Community Events, Inc. will offer a fun-filled evening featuring six local "stars" who will compete against each other in a dancing and fundraising competition. It will be held at Luciano's Lake Pearl on Friday, March 8 at 7p.m. Each "star" will be aligned with one of six local charitable organizations: Friends of Wrentham, Holly Club, Lions Club of Wrentham, Random Smiles, WEST and Rice Complex.
