It will be a rainy start to the school year with showers and storms likely into afternoon, according to WHDH-TV. It will be drying out after that with temperatures in the low 80s.
Welcome back to school day for Wrentham students. It is Wrentham Interim Superintendent of Schools Christopher Martes' first in town, 14th year as a superintendent and 37th overall.
The Wrentham selectmen will be holding a hearing on setting a curb cut permit fee of $50 for each public access way permit. It will be at town hall in the second floor conference room at 7 p.m.
The 32nd Annual Wrentham Day and Wrentham Wroad Wrace will be held on Saturday, Sept. 7. There will be informational booths and vendors selling their goods, as well as crafts and games. Wrentham Day will run 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The Wroad Wrace kicks off at 10 a.m.
The Plainville selectmen will be meeting tonight at 6:30 p.m. in the selectmen's office at town hall.
