WEST & The Friends of Wrentham Hosts "Fun Day"

Wrentham Elementary Schools Trust, Inc. (WEST) is pairing up with The Friends of Wrentham, Inc. to host a FUN Day FUNdraiser today at the Crackerbarrel Fair Grounds at the Wrentham Developmental Center on Emerald Street, Wrentham MA. The events begin at 10 am and continue until 4 pm.  All are welcome! 

"Fun Day" is a community-wide day of fun, food, and friendly competition.

The day will feature fun Field Day youth events sponsored by many different community organizations and businesses including Wrentham Youth Soccer, Boy Scouts Troop 181, Wrentham Youth Baseball Softball Association, Gymnastics Academy of Boston, 4-H, The Music Box, Showcase Dance Studio and King Philip Football, Hockey and Basketball.

Field Day event tickets will be offered individually or by purchase of a $20 passport allowing one try at each activity.  Prizes will be awarded for many of the challenges.  There will be a small fee for parking at the event.

There will also be food and snacks, a bounce house, pony rides, face painting, a penny candy shoppe, basket raffles and early morning tethered hot air balloon rides (9-11am; weather permitting) sponsored by Re/Max of Foxboro.

WEST will have a used sporting good sale with lots of gently used sporting goods including, skiis and snowboards, hockey equipment, camping equipment, youth and summer sporting goods.

All funds raised will directly benefit WEST and The Friends of Wrentham, Inc., as well as the other non-profit organizations involved in Fun Day.  WEST and The Friends of Wrentham, Inc. are tax-exempt non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organizations. 

The Friends of Wrentham Inc. is dedicated to improving the quality of life for men and women at the Wrentham Developmental Center to ensure that residents continue to live life to the fullest. Their mission is to provide volunteer, financial, material donations, and to increase public awareness of the Wrentham Developmental Center.
