13th Annual Earth Day Charles River Cleanup

Please plan to join Wind River Environmental at the 13th Annual Earth Day Charles River Cleanup to be held at the Mellen bridge in Bellingham on Saturday April 21st from 9AM - Noon!

The team at Wind River Environmental, your local septic & drain service experts, is committed to prolonging the life of your septic system and also safeguarding the health of you and your family by working hard to ensure a clean and safe environment.  The Earth Day Charles River Cleanup is an initiative created by The Charles River Watershed Association. This is one of their biggest events of the year and since 2000, the Charles River Watershed Association has coordinated the Annual Earth Day Charles River Cleanup with a collaborative of other non-profit organizations. The Cleanup involves volunteers picking up trash at over 100 different cleanup sites along the Charles River.

The Charles River doesn’t just affect Boston it affects 80 miles of Massachusetts including Bellingham. There are over 30 water ways that connect to the Charles River which then connects to the Atlantic Ocean. Water pollution and contamination is both a local and international issue.   Here’s an opportunity to make a difference. Get your family, friends, and coworkers together to help beautify the scenic Charles River!
