5 Things You Need to Know: Weekend Edition

From live music to pro soccer, here is what's going on this weekend!

  1. Wrentham is the place to be for live music this weekend. On July 7 Jo-Lee Jazz Band will be performing at part of the Wrentham Outlets’ Summer Music Series while Tom Nutile Big Band will play the common on July 8 at 6:30 p.m.
  2. The Paws of Plainville will be holding a bottle and can drive on July 7 to raise money for their animal shelter. Donations will be accepted from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. at 200 South Street in Plainville.
  3. The New England Revolution host their rival in the New York Red Bulls on July 8 ay 7 p.m.
  4. With temperatures reaching up to 94 this weekend according to the National Weather Service, it might be a good time to stop by Sweatt Beach. They reopened yesterday with all tests showing that the water is safe to be in.
  5. The Terrace Cafe will be opening on and will be open from 7 a.m. to midnight. The cafe is located on 36 South St. For more info check out their Facebook page.
