5 Things You Need to Know: Wednesday, Jan. 15

Wednesdays at the Wrentham, Plainville and Norfolk Libraries offer a lot of fun opportunities.

1. The weather forecast is calling for snow today with a high of 37 and a low of 28 today. Wrentham appears to be on the edge of the three-five inches totally, accoding to WHDH. East of us is expected to get two inches to a coating. Snow is expected to end between 2-4 p.m. Sounds like a good day to go to the library so....

2. The Daisy Scouts will be meeting at the Fiske Public Library in Wrentham from 4-5:30 p.m.

3. At the Plainville Library, there will be Story Time/Craft at 1:30 p.m. for ages 3-5 in the Children's Room. Don't forget Saturday that Winniee The Therapy Dog will be visiting from 10:30-11:30 a.m. This cutie beagle loves to listen to stories and you will be able to practice your reading.

4. The Norfolk Library has a jam-packed day of events with story times and reading groups. There will be Baby Time from 10:30-11 a.m. for ages three to 12 months, Multi-Age Story Time, ages two and up with a caregiver, from 11:15-11:45 a.m., On My Own Bedtime,  for ages three and up with a caregiver, from 1:30-2 p.m., Junior Friends of the Library Book Group for grades 4-6, from 3:30-4:30 p.m. For more information, contact Contact: Amy Reimann at  508-528-3380 x5 or at areimann@virtualnorfolk.org

5. Remember to make Saturday at the Fiske Public Library for Music with Sarah Gardner, all baby music, at 10:30 a.m. in the Sweatt Meeting Room. This is an interactive music program for the very young, 0-18 months. Registration is required at the circulation desk. The program is free, but canned-good donations will be accepted for the Wrentham Food Pantry.
