5 Things: Weekend Edition
This weekend, the YMCA Wing Off takes place in Foxborough, the Cub Scouts hold their yard sale on the common, and the Patriots get ready for their first home game of the year.
1. Weather
According to the National Weather Service, there is a chance scattered showers and thunderstorms on Saturday morning before 11:00 a.m., and isolated showers between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. This will be followed by a gradual clearing along with a high around 72 degrees. The low for Saturday night should be around 45 degrees.
Sunday will be a little cooler with a high of 69 and sunny during the day with a mostly clear evening with a low near 45.

3. The YMCA Wing Off

The Hockomock Area YMCA will sponsor the 6th annual Wing Off on Saturday, September 15th at Fusion 5 Sports Bar in Foxborough at 6:30 p.m. Participants will include James' Breakfast and More of Wrentham and the Chieftian of Plainville.
All proceeds will benefit the Hockomock Area YMCA's annual support campaign known as the Reach Out for Youth & Families Campaign which provides a YMCA experience to more than 15,000 local children and families in need in their communities.
4. Scouts on the Common
Wrentham Cub Scout Pack 131 will have a yard sale from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to help fund their activities and scholarships for the upcoming year. We are also accepting donations of items the morning of the sale. Donations will be accepted starting at 7:30 a.m.
5. First Patriots Home Game
The New England Patriots come home for the first time this year to face the Arizona Cardinals at 1:00 p.m. Don't forget to watch out for all that pre and post game traffic that can build up on Route 1 and 495!
