1. Today's Weather From the National Weather Service

  • Today: Sunny, with a high near 47. North wind 7 to 10 mph.
  • Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 30. North wind around 7 mph.

 

2. Patriots Holding Food Drive

As part of their Celebrate Volunteerism campaign, the New England Patriots will be holding a food drive during their November 18 match against the Indianapolis Colts. You can help by picking up a few extra nonperishable food items and dropping them off before the game at the entrance gates.

Anyone who would like to donate but is not going to the game can stop by the bins at the Pro Shop or the Patriots’ Corporate Offices.

3. Water main Shutdown on Kendrick Street

On Wednesday, November 14 at 8:00 a.m., the 6 inch water main on Kendrick Street will be shut down in order to replace a broken water gate valve. Residents who rely on the main will be without water for approximately eight hours.

The town recommends that residents draw water prior to 8:00 a.m. if needed. The rain date is Thursday, November 15 at 8:00 a.m.

 

4. Wrentham Emergency Management Agency Survey

The Wrentham Emergency Management Agency (WEMA) is encouraging residents to take part in their survey to help assess the shelter and support needs if there were to be an incident in town.

5. Eat at UNO's, Help Out KP Cross Country

Dine in or take out at Uno's today and tomorrow and you could help the King Philip Cross Country program. Simply present this coupon to your waiter and 20% of your bill will go to the harriers of King Philip. The offer is good throught tomorrow evening.
