5 Things: Jaguar Enthusiasts Coming to Wrentham, KP School Committee to Meet, and More

It's Monday, September 17 and here are the five things you need to know!

1. Sunny with a High Near 75

According to the National Weather Service, today should be sunny with a high near 75 degrees with a low of 53 during the mostly clear evening.

2. Today in KP Sports

Only the boys' soccer team will play today. They will host Bishop Feehan at 3:30 p.m. at KP High School in a makeup game for their postponed contest from September 5.

3. School Committee Meeting Tonight

The KP School Committee will be meeting tonight at 7:00 p.m. in the library at King Philip High School. The agenda items for tonight's meeting can be seen at the King Philip School District website.

 

4. Jaguar Enthusiasts Coming to Wrentham

The Wrentham Village Premium Outlets will welcome approximately fifty Jaguar owners from the UK who will be visiting the center as part of their first-ever New England tour. Members of the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club will gather with a spectacular array of their iconic Jaguars, including vintage cars, which span 50 years from 1952 to 2012. These cars have been shipped over from the UK for this exclusive tour throughout New England. Select models include a 1952 Jaguar XK120 Roadster, 1960 Jaguar Mark IX, and a 1970 Jaguar E Type S1 among others.

Fans and owners of the vehicles are invited to join them on Thursday, October 11 at 2 p.m.

 

5. Evening Book Discussion at Fiske Public Library

The Fiske Public Library will be meeting on September 20 at 6:30 p.m. to discuss Harvard Yard by William Martin. Those interested can sign up at the library but please be aware that space is limited.
