5 Things: Movie Night at the White Barn Farm, Wrentham School Committee to Meet, Book Signing at UNOs, and More!

In this edition of 5 Things: Information on movie night at the White Barn Farm, the End of Summer Craft Fair at the Wrentham Developmental Center this weekend, and the Wrentham School Committee is set to meet tonight.

1. Partly Cloudy With a High of 79

Aside from a 20% chance of showers during the afternoon, expect a party sunny day with a high of 79 degrees according to the National Weather Service. Tuesday night should be partly cloudy with a low of 58 degrees. 

2. Local Author Sheila S. Cunningham Visits Wrentham

Local writer Sheila S. Cunningham will have a book signing along with character Willow on Tuesday evening from 5:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the Unos located at the Wrentham Outlets. The event will also feature trivia according to the restaurant's descriptioin of the event.

Cunningham recently authored Willow's Walkabout: A Children's Guide to Boston.

3. Wrentham School Committee Meeting Tonight

The Wrentham School Committee will meet in the Raymond Library of the Roderick School tonight at 7:00 p.m.

On tap tonight will be a vote on the student handbook and the introduction of the new teachers.

4. The Great Lesson at the White Barn Farm

The White Barn Farm has announced that they will be showing the documentary, The Great Lesson on August 31st at 6:30pm. The Bellingham Whole Foods will be there to provide snacks for the movie to be shown outside.

Prior to the start of the film, there will be a healthy eating demo, followed by either a yoga or aikido demonstration

The suggested donation for the film is $6. Moviegoers are encouraged to bring their own refreshments but no pets are allowed.

5. Cracker Barrel Fairgrounds to Host a Craft Fair This Weekend

There will be an end of summer craft fair this Saturday starting at 10 a.m. at the Cracker Barrel Fairgrounds. Over 50 vendors are expected to be present including the 4Paws Animal Shelter who will be collecting donations for an animal shelter they hope to build on the state school property.
