Local student chosen for American Legion Auxiliary Unit #225 award

The American Legion Auxiliary Unit #225 of Wrentham recently awarded Miss Emily Garven of King Philip Regional High School the ALA #225 Music Appreciation Award.  Miss Garven was selected from entries submitted by seniors from King Philip who demonstrated a passion for music and the arts during their years at King Philip. 

Miss Garven will attend Bridgewater State University this fall to study Music and Theater Education.  Miss Garven is the Director of the "Inspiration Performing Troupe" (http://www.inspirationperformingtroupe.com/) in Norfolk, Massachusetts which she established in 2009.

The American Legion Auxiliary Unit #225 congratulates the talented Miss Garven on her achievements to date and look forward to her continued success.
