Dayspring Christian Academy will hold an Open House program for its “Daycare at Dayspring” components on Saturday, Feb. 8, from 9 a.m. to noon at the school located at 1052 Newport Avenue (Route 1A at its intersection with Interstate Route 95) in Attleboro.
According to Admissions Director Darlene DeCastro, the Open House is designed to provide hands-on information about “Daycare at Dayspring” to potential enrollees and their families. The Feb. 8 session will include guided tours of the school and its facilities by DCA administration, staff and faculty members, with printed materials distributed free of charge and all questions answered.
“Daycare at Dayspring” features services for infants and toddlers as well as a Pre-Kindergarten program for 3-year-olds and 4-year-olds. DeCastro said “Daycare at Dayspring” is designed as both a learning and play-based program, with special emphasis placed on individual development.
“We provide a balance between structured routines and activities that encourage individual choice and expression,” DeCastro said. “Our goal is to provide a caring extension of a child’s home and family life.”
Children enrolled in “Daycare at Dayspring” are closely supervised at all times by experienced and certified personnel and are housed in facilities which have been largely modified during the past two years. There are no residency requirements for enrollees, who are also not required to have had prior affiliations with DCA and are not mandated to attend the school in future years.
The Feb. 8 session is open to the public, free of charge, and no advance reservations will be required. Free refreshments will be offered to all in attendance.
Information about DCA’s academic programs for students in Kindergarten through Grade 8 will also be available to those in attendance Saturday.
