After a 20-year hiatus, Yuengling beer returned to Massachusetts liquor stores this week.

The Pennsylvania-based beer has been available on tap at several bars throughout Boston in recent weeks, and D.G. Yuengling & Son, Inc. will offer its Yuengling Lager, Light and Black & Tan beers in liquor stores, as well, according to Boston.com

Massachusetts is the 15th state to carry the beer, which was pulled from the local market more than 20 years ago to focus on mid-Atlantic states and the Midwest, according to Boston.com.

Yuengling has also launched local platforms on social media, providing updates on its Facebook page at Facebook.com/YuenglingBoston and on Twitter @YuenglingBoston.

Today, we're reaching out to beer drinkers a and wondering, are you happy to have Yuengling available again in Massachusetts? Let us know your thoughts on the beer in the comments below!

I'm thrilled now I don't have to go out the State to get it. I am curious about whether the bottles will be .05 returnable because out of State they are only glass recyclable.

Sure this beer is from the oldest continuous brewery in the country, but it's just average beer. It's a step above the Bud, Miller, Coors products on the market, but there are thousands of craft beers out there that are much better then Yuengling. Based on the onslaught of ads on TV in the state, it appears they are going after Sam Adams. What they should be doing is going after the Bud, Miller, Coors drinkers to get them to realize beer is suppose to have flavor, and then once those drinkers realize that, they will start moving on to the even better beers out there.

Wish Yuengling was sold in NH. Are there any stores in Tyngsboro, MA that sell it?
