The Plainville Board of Selectmen will meet 6:30 p.m. while the Board of Assessors will meet 7 p.m.

Introduction to genealogy will take place at Norfolk Public Library 7 to 8:30 p.m. This ongoing workshop is suitable for genealogy novices or those who want to brush up on their skills. Discussion will include types of participation, reasons, how to get started, common forms, resources and educational opportunities. Other workshop dates are Oct. 7, Nov. 4 and Nov. 18.
