A Rhode Island man was arraigned in Wrentham District Court on Tuesday on charges of stealing catalytic converters from cars in the center of town. Joshua Bernier, 21, of 301 Park Ave. in Woonsocket, was charged with three counts of wanton destruction of property of more than $250 and two counts of larceny of more than $250. A bail of $1,000 was imposed on him. A Quebec man was arraigned in Wrentham District Court on Monday on charges that he had shoplifted from the Wrentham Premium Outlets one day after he had been detained by police on shoplifting allegations. Jean Brodeur, 57, of 330 Principale St. in St. Alphonse de Granby, Quebec, was charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise, trespass and three counts of receiving stolen property.
