This week is dedicated to my friend Pat McLeod, my high school friend Patty Gilbert. Her husband passed away this week and I am so sorry for her loss. I can't help but think about the parallels in our lives although we haven't been close for many decades. These days we keep in touch mostly on Facebook. After seeing some shots of Mirror Lake on Facebook Patty suggested that I take one every day, and for that I thank her. Sometimes it seems like a burden to me (self-imposed!) but it has also broadened my vision in many ways. Thank you Patty! I wish you all the best during this difficult time, and again I have to say you just never know how you affect others by one small thing that you do.
