Wrentham Registrar Retires after 20 Years
Wrentham registrar Muriel Beresford retires after 20 years serving in Wrentham.
The Wrentham Board of Selectmen accepted the resignation of Muriel Beresford from the board of registrars last week.
Beresford worked in the town clerk’s office for more than 20 years.
“Twenty and a half years is quite some time to be on a board,” said Wrentham town clerk Carol Mollica. “We’re looking to appoint a new registrar.”
Selectmen also voted 5-0 to appoint assistant town clerk Elllen Wojcik as a temporary registrar until a replacement can be found.
