Who's Running for Office in Wrentham?

Candidates for the April election in Wrentham have until Feb. 11 to file their signatures to run.

 

 

Deadline to fill papers to run in the Wrentham April 1 election is Feb. 11.

According to report in the Sun Chronicle, Wrentham is looking to move the election to April 30, the same date at primary for the United States Senate seat, vacanted by John Kerry's appointment as Secretary of State.

Candidates must have to collect a minimum of 48 signatures to appear on the ballot.

Already running are:

Town moderator, one year, held by Keith Billian.

Town clerk, three years, held by Carol Mollica.

Board of Selectmen, three years, two seats held by Joseph Botaish and Gail Pratt.

King Philip School Commitee, two years, held by James Killion Jr.

Assessor, three years, held by Joan Dooley.

Planning Board, for three years, two seats, held by Michael McKnight and Thomas Wrynn.

Board of Health, three years, held by Debra Dunn.

Fiske Library trustee, three years, held by Marjorie Walsh.

Constable, for three years, three seats held by Richard Gillespie, Stephen Hamlin, and Peter Preston.

Wrentham Housing Authority, five years, held by Robert Morrill.
