Week in Review: Robbery, Basketball and Yoga

Looking back at the week of Dec. 18 - Dec. 23.

1. The Wrentham Police Department is seeking information after the Dec. 20 armed robbery of the Wrentham Village Premium Outlets Guess store. The suspect reportedly bound the store's employees at gunpoint and emptied the cash drawers.

2. The King Philip girls and boys ice hockey teams were in action this week. The girls tied Medway/Ashland, 1-1, on Wednesday, while the boys took a loss against Dartmouth, 3-2.

3.The KP boys and girls basketball teams both fell to Mansfield this Tuesday. The boys lost 59-50, while the girls were defeated by a 48-27 score.

4. We had an article on the newly opened Humble Warrior Yoga Studio in the center of Wrentham. Business owner Lauren D'Angelo Cocuzzo said the studio has seen a positive response so far.

5. The town saw a drop in its unemployment rate (from 5.8 percent to five percent) in November, but home sales fell dramatically (from 11 to two) during the month.
