Week in Review: Board Reorganizes, Marathon and Fries
Looking back at the week of April 16 - April 21.
1. The Boston Marathon was held on Monday, and six residents from Wrentham took part. Check out their results here.
2. The Wrentham Board of Selectmen met Tuesday night and held a board reorganization, as is policy after elections. Joseph Botaish retained chairmanship, while Stephen Langley was named vice-chairman and Gail Pratt remained board clerk.
3. The town began accepting inquiries for a seat on the King Philip School Committee. Wrentham did not elect a representative earlier this month, and the seat will thus be filled through appointment.
4. The King Philip baseball team took a tough loss against Norwood on Friday.
5. Commonwealth BBQ was voted as having the best fries in the area by Wrentham and Foxborough readers. Check Patch on Monday for the next "best of" poll.
