A major snowstorm has hit the state, and is expected to continue throughout the afternoon and evening.
King Philip High School and the Wrentham Elementary Schools were both closed today because of the weather. That decision was announced last night.
The Wrentham Premium Outlets are closed because of the snow, according to an announcement on their website.
The town has appeared to avoid any serious power outages so far.
The National Weather Service is predicting that the snow will continue throughout the day and into the evening. Nine to 13 inches are expected, along with wind gusts.
According to the WeatherBug station at the Wrentham Elementary Schools, the town has seen gusts of about 27 miles per hour.
Update: WBZ and Channel 5 are reporting that Wrentham Elementary Schools and KP will each have a one-hour delayed opening on Thursday.
