Senator Brown's Debate Conditions Rejected
Victoria Reggie Kennedy says she won't stay neutral in Wrentham's Scott Brown race for re-election to the US Senate against Elizabeth Warren as a condition for a September debate.
Senator Scott Brown wants the widow of the late Senator Ted Kennedy to stay neutral in the Massachusetts US Senate race as a condition for a debate at the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate.
Victoria Reggie Kennedy today, according the Boston Globe, rejected Brown's (R-Wrentham) request to stay on the sideline. Brown is running against Democrat Elizabeth Warren, who is a Harvard Law School professor.
Mrs. Kennedy decision could end the debate planned for late September.
Brown also doesn't want MSNBC to host the debate.

What is Scotty Boy afraid of? Is he scared to face a Harvard professor with impeccable credentials in the financial world? Is he convinced that he won't change anyone's mind when he debates Warren? Does he already sense that this would be a "fail" for him? Sheesh. What a baby.

Marcia,
From my knowledge Scott has never abused his power in any elected office to date. He has been truthful and diligent in his representation of his constituents. Ms. Warren on the other hand has started out embellishing the truth. Her native American roots claim has many people upset. Me being one of them, I can easily prove that I am a 13th generation descendant from the Mayflower. If it is true why is she having such difficulty being accountable for her statement?
If she (Ms. Warren) would tout this mistruth as fact I'm sure it would only be the start of a countless legacy of deceit. Scott has done us all a service of one who represents our best interests. A baby, not quite. Smart about a potential trap and wise enough to know it... You bet!

Rick Smith, if you are really a smart and sane person you should do serious research and get the facts , not from watching Fox because they were being lobbied by Republicans, tea party, or lessening Rush Limbaugh. I and my family used to be a big Republicans supporter but after all the destructions and chaos in our country I started to do a real fact check which is 100 percent unbiased I realized how stupid we were supporting the wrong party. Republicans are not on the side of middle class or hardworking americans. Their ideology is so bad that makes our country cripple or go downhill. Scott Brown is not an exemption of those crook Republicans that is why he is the most favorite senator in Wall Street and he voted always against what is good for our environment and all people in this country. I hope people won't be blind and lazy to get a fact check.

ime lavoix - I was doing some fact checking as you suggested. However I could not find any information that supports Warren's claims of being a descendent of the Cherokee nation. Can you send me some info that supports these claims. Thanks.

ime, you are way off if you think Senator Brown is "the most favorite senator in Wall Street"...a mantle previously held by none other than then Senator BH Obama himself in 2008.
I can enlighten you on one major fact, that Republicans and Conservative Independents were ready to give up on Senator Brown back when he voted for Wall Street regulation in May 2010. http://www.theatlantic.com/business/archive/2010/05/scott-brown-helps-democrats-push-through-financial-reform/57041/ ..... Sorry to let a few facts spoil your kool aid.

He's probably too busy meeting secretly with kings and queens to participate in the debate. It's a privilege that we in Massachusetts don't really deserve, to be represented by somebody who looks as good in a suit as does Scott Brown.

Ms. Warren's character is above reproach. She handled the indian ancestry very well. She answered every question asked of her. She graciously received the Cherokee delegation from Oklahoma and thanked them for their birthday present. She filled out all her applications to Upenn and Harvard
truthfully and honestly. She did not take advantage of the system. She was a tremendous adviser to Traveler's insurance in handling the asbestos
mesothelioma complaints showing them how to file for bankruptcy to avoid paying the claims. And she is even environmentally conscientious. Did you know that right before she was going to run for the senate she drove a nice expensive BMW and as soon as she entered the race, she is driving a Prius.
She should have bought a Jeep Cherokee. (Sarcasm intended)

What has always been so upsetting to me is the inflammatory and biased language that many of you commentors employ when taking your stands on either side of an issue or candidate. Party lines, rote recitations, mindless succumbing to whatever extreme position is put out there makes it glaringly obvious that there are so very few folks that are actually capable of thinking independently and then communicating a well thought out position. One thing that is especailly irksome is the quickness of many to point the finger at "the Republicans" or "Wall Street" or "the Teaparty" or "ultra left wing liberals" when instead you all should be pointing the fingers at yourselves for the role that you all have played in Wall Street when you buy mutuals funds for your IRA, or when you sell a home for more than it is really worth or borrow money that you can not repay with the money that you earn. In other words don't let these generalizations become the party line, use language that is civil, don't be hypocritcal when you point the finger at someone else, don't hold double standards, act like adults, stand up and act like a man or woman and don't be a shit about it all.
