Five people were arrested at an apartment located at 15 Washington Street on Feb. 12. Officers responded to a noise complaint at the location, and investigation alledges that an underage drinking party was occurring. The two tenants, Jacob Boyle, 19 and David Zaniboni, 23 were arrested and charged with Furnishing Alcohol for Minors and Disturbing the Peace. The three other occupants, Benjamin Rush, 20 of North Attleboro, Terrence Forbes, 20 of North Attleboro, and Shane McCarthy, 20 of Attleboro were arrested and charged with being minors in Possession of Alcohol and Disturbing the Peace.
Vincent Grossi, 21 of Plainville was arrested Feb.13 on a Wrentham warrant charging him with Assault & Battery by Means of a Dangerous Weapon. According to Officer Holbrook, he observed Grossi outside his residence and knew there was a warrant for him. Grossi asked to go into his residence to ask his grandmother for bail. Once inside the residence, Grossi locked himself in a bathroom. The door was forced open, and Grossi was placed under arrest. He was held overnight at the police station.
James Dugan, 30 of North Attleboro was arrested Feb. 16 and charged with Obstruction of Justice. The charge stems from an investigation by Sgt Gallerani where Dugan and his fiancée reported a motor vehicle crash in Plainville in January. Information was received that the crash took place in Rhode Island, but not reported there. Both subjects were interviewed at the police station, and Dugan was subsequently placed under arrest.
