Obits: Remembering Mary-Lou Pezold

Norfolk resident Mary-Lou Pezold passed away on December 18 at the age of 94

Mary-Lou Pezold, 94, of Norfolk, December 18, 2012, died peacefully surrounded by loving family.  She was the beloved widow of Warren J. Pezold who died March 15, 1996.

Born Sept. 13, 1918 in Detroit, MI, she was a dear daughter of the late Bayard F. and Mildred (Armour) Snow.   Mrs. Pezold has made her home in Norfolk for the past 65 Years.  She was an avid Red Sox fan, a founding member of the King Philip Chapter of Sweet Adelines, a song-writer, poet, puzzle solver, reader, knitter, canoeist, and humorist.

She was the loving and devoted mother of Warren “Dutch” Pezold of Bridgewater, NH, Laurance “Charlie” B. Pezold of Millis, Thomas W. Pezold of Stockton Springs, ME, Daniel M. Pezold of Norfolk, Mary Lou Gibson of Orlando, FL. Carol Campbell of Wrentham, Judith Kennedy of Franklin, Janice Dubois of Orlando, FL, and Dorothy Czyzewski of Norfolk.  She was the loving grandmother of 27 grandchildren, 30  great grand children, and  1  great, great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Norfolk Firefighters Fund @ 117 Main Street Norfolk, MA 02056 or to a charity of your choice.
