Holy Cross senior Amy Lepley earns Patriot League honors.

Norfolk's Amy Lepley, a senior co-captain for Holy Cross women's basketball team, was named second team All-Patriot League. Teammate Alex Smith was a first team selection.

Lepley, who played at Bishop Feehan, is second on Holy Cross with 11.5 points per game and leads the team with 5.3 rebounds per contest, while hitting 45.7 percent (86 of 188) of her field goal attempts. She ranks third on HC with 2.9 assists per game.

In the 14 conference games played this season, Lepley ranked seventh in the Patriot League in points (11.7), fifth in field goal percentage (.432), ninth in assists (2.9) and 14th in rebounds (5.1) per game. She has led the team in scoring in three contests this season and has been the squad's top rebounder in four games.

Lepley became the 28th Holy Cross women's basketball player to cross the 1,000 points mark on Jan. 6 at Fordham. During her four years at Holy Cross, Lepley has recorded 1,182 points, 616 rebounds, 247 assists and 140 steals. She is 16th on the Holy Cross scoring list and is one of only 11 Crusaders to score at least 1,000 points and grab over 600 rebounds.

She was featured in the Patriot League Tournament magazine. The Crusaders will play Colgate in the Patriot League semifinal Monday night at home.
