KP boys tennis team defeats Westwood, Mansfield
The King Philip boys tennis team has gone to 3-0 on the season.
The team defeated Westwood on Monday and Mansfield on Tuesday, both by a 4-1 tally.
"Senior first singles player Mike McCarthy improved his record to 3-0 with straight-set victories over each of his opponents," wrote KP coach Laurie Puddester. "Junior second singles newcomer Matt Nicholson also improved to 3-0."
KP next plays at home on Thursday, April 12 against North Attleboro.

The King Philip baseball team beat Norton on Saturday by a 6-4 score.
