KP Principal Wargo Resigns, Will Take Scituate Job
Resignation announcement made at KP School Committee meeting.
King Philip High School Principal Robert Wargo will resign to take another job, it was announced at the KP School Committee meeting Monday night.
Superintendent Elizabeth Zielinski said Wargo had tendered his letter of resignation and will be taking the Scituate High principal job.
"Scituate is about 20 minutes from where he lives," Zielinski said.
According to Zielinski, the resignation would be effective June 30.
Committee Chairman Patrick Francomano said Wargo would be missed.
Wargo was hired last year after serving as assistant principal. He replaced Charles Flahive, who had served in the position on an interim basis.
