King Philip Field Hockey Team Edges Out Barnstable in Tournament
The King Philip High field hockey team now travel to Duxbury Saturday for a 2:30 p.m. first round match-up.
The King Philip High field hockey team defeated Barnstable, 2-1, in the preliminary round of the Division 1 South team Thursday.
The Warriors are the 15th seed in tourney with an 8-6-4, while Barnstable was the last seed at 18th with a 5-5-8 mark.
King Philip will now advance to play at Duxbury, Saturday at 2:30 p.m. The Green Dragons finished the regular season with a 17-1-0 record.
Walpole is the top seed at 18-0.
