In Memory of Plainville Resident Marcia Plympton
Marcia Plympton passed away on December 16 at the age of 75
Marcia Plympton, 75, of Plainville, died on December 16, 2012, in the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. She was the loving and devoted widow of Warren Dexter Plympton who predeceased her on June 7, 1987.
Born on September 1, 1937, she had been a dear daughter of the late Arthur, and Hazel (Richardson) Plympton. She was educated in Southboro Public Schools and was a graduate of Peters High School in Southboro. Marcia went on to attend both Becker College and Boston University.
For many years and until retirement, she had worked first as an office manager, medical secretary, and later as a Medical Transcriptionist at the Milford, Franklin Eye Center in Franklin.
She was interested in everything that involved her grandchildren, and she never missed any of their High School sporting events. She was an avid sports fan, adored watching the Red Sox, and other Boston Teams. She also loved listening to Johnny Mathis.
She is survived by two loving sons, Stephen Plympton of North Attleboro, and Jeffrey and his wife Linda Plympton of Wrentham, a dear sister Meredith and her husband Larry Decker of Bluffton, SC, and cherished grandchildren, Nicole and Jeff Plympton.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the RJ Ross Funeral Home, 135 South Street, Route 1A, Wrentham Centre, today from 4-8 PM. Private graveside services will be held on Thursday at a time convenient to her family and will be in Plainville Cemetery.
