Horse in Trailer Accident Put Down

One of the horses involved in yesterday's trailer turnover has been put down.

One of the two horses involved in yesterday's accident on Route 1A had to be put down according to a report from WCVB.

The horses were injured after the trailer they were in flipped over while on the ramp from Route 1A to Route 495 North. Both were taken to the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in Grafton for treatment. The accident is still under investigation by the Massachusetts State Police.

Due to extensive injuries, the first horse had to be put to sleep. The second horse in the accident is still being evaluated and may need surgery.

We know how to have prevented this. No standards for a horse trailer and Washington DC safety officials know. Go to www.dangeroustrailets.org and wake up. Each horse trailer I'd made to different specifications. Most are home made we are ready tobhelp
