Events in the Wrentham area this weekend.

 

Potters Place Spring Show and Sale
Where/When: 127 West St. Walpole. Friday, May 4, 5:30pm - 9pm; Saturday, May 5, 9am - 8pm; Sunday, May 6, 10am - 4pm.
What is it?: Potters Place in Walpole is having its Annual Spring Show & Sale, with hundreds of hand crafted, uniquely designed and glazed pottery items on display and for sale. 
Price: Free

Turtle Trekkers
Where/When: Stony Brook Wildlife Sanctuary. Saturday, May 5, 10:30am.
What is it?: Start your weekend off right with a fun and knowledgeable Stony Brook teacher on the trails learning about nature. There will be crafts, activities and lots of laughter. So come and join the fun. This month’s themes: Fantastic Frogs/ Taking Care of the Earth! Ages 2.9 to 6 with a parent.
Price: $10 members/$12 nonmembers

Lego Club at Fiske Library
Where/When: Fiske Public Library. Saturday, May 5, 2:30pm to 3:45pm.
What is it?: A Lego Club at the library. No registration required.
Price: None

Wompatuck State Park Trip
Where/When: Stony Brook. Sunday, May 6, 7am.
What is it?: The twelve miles of paved bike trails and many more miles of wooded hiking trails of Wompatuck State Park lead alongside streams and past dozens of ponds that make fantastic habitat for a wide variety of birds.  The site is a migrant warbler trap in spring and fall - including specialty species like worm-eating Canada and hooded warblers - a breeding site for wood ducks, and a wonderful habitat for owls, woodpeckers and hawks.
Price: $35 members, $41 nonmembers.
