Extra Innings to Hold Auction to Benefit Tragedy-Stricken Family
Business to hold silent auction to benefit local family.
Extra Innings Wrentham will hold a silent auction Friday, March 23 from 12pm to 8:15pm to raise money for a local family of four children who recently lost their father.
Sports memorabilia and raffle prizes will be auctioned off, with all proceeds going directly to the Collentro family.
Autographed memorabilia including a 1975 Red Sox team picture of Carlton Fisk, a Kevin Youkilis photo and a Jonathan Papelbon baseball will be part of the auction, as well as a number of unsigned Boston sports memorabilia items. The auction also includes two front row tickets to the Red Sox vs. Rangers game on April 18. A Wilson A2000 Glove and a Louisville Slugger Little League Vertex bat will be raffled off.
"Brian Collentro was a special part of the Extra Innings family and will be missed dearly,” said Jeff Barnhardt, general manager of Extra Innings Wrentham. “We are happy to be doing whatever we can to help his wife and four children during this difficult time.”
The silent auction will be held at Extra Innings Wrentham, 15 Cushing Drive. The auction closes at 8:15pm. Raffle tickets can be purchased starting March 16, and will be available until March 23. One ticket is $5 and three tickets are $10. The raffle drawing will be held March 23 at 8pm.
