5 Things You Should Know Today: August 10

Here's what's happening around town today, Wednesday, August 10.

1. The Wrentham Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at 7pm at the Town Hall.

2. The Wrentham Senior Center will hold a special presentation "Keeping Cool - Inside and Out" at 12:30pm. When it is warm outdoors how can we keep our bodies cool? Do we really need to drink 8 glasses of water each day? When we deal with the stress of everyday life…how can we keep our tempers cool? Bonnie Ryvicker from the Community VNA will be here to answer all of these questions and more.  Come on in and learn from this important discussion.

3. Fiske Library will hold a special Fire Story Time & Trip to the Fire Station at 10am for children 3.5 and up. Meet at the library for a "Fire Story" and then walk over to tour the Wrentham Fire Station and climb on the trucks!!  Sign-up at the circulation desk. Program is free but canned-good donations will be gratefully accepted for the Wrentham Food Pantry.  The Library also invites children ages 3-6 to join them at 10am for a new children's program: "Dinos, Hippos & Bunnies, Oh My!!" Emily Moore, eighth grader at Benjamin Franklin Classical Charter Public School, will read and explore books by Sandra Boynton with fun crafts and songs for her Capstone Project.  Please register at the Front Desk.

4. Love competing in trivia? Stop by Mr. Dooley's tonight from 7:30pm to 9:30pm for some Pub Trivia, hosted by Sean.
