5 Things: KP School Committee Releases Meeting Agenda, The Cracker Barrel Fair is Back, and More!
In today's edition of 5 Things You Need to Know, the Cracker Barrel Fair is back though Sunday, Stony Brook sponsors a Hawk Watch, and the KP School Committee gets ready to meet again.
1. Today's Weather
According to the National Weather Service, expect some patchy fog before 8 a.m. The rest of the day should be sunny with a high near 79 degrees and a low of 56 in the evening.
2. KP Sports Today
- Golf vs. Mansfield at 3:30 p.m.
- Volleyball at Sharon at 5:00 p.m.
3. Cracker Barrel Fair
The Cracker Barrel Fair returns to the Wrentham Developmental Center today through Sunday. The fair is open today and tomorrow from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., 12:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
4. Hawk Watch with Stony Brook
Join the Stony Brook Wildlife Sanctuary as they travel up to Mount Watatic for their annual Hawk Watch. Everyone will meet at the base of the mountain at 9:00 a.m. before making their way to the top. For more information, check out the Mass Audubon website.
5. KP School Committee Release Agenda for Next Meeting
The KP School Committee will meet on September 12, 2012 in the library of KP High School. Agenda items include a report from KP Principal Lisa Oliveira, requests for an overnight field trip for the high school, and the appointment of the new crossing guard.
