5 Things: 9/11 Memorial Update and Planning Board Meeting

The 9/11 Memorial has a date for its unveiling plus four other things you need to know.

1. Showers With a High of 83 Degrees

According to the National Weather Service, we can expect a high of 83 defgrees and a low near 65. There will be a 50% chance of rain and possible thunderstorms. In the evening, there will be a 60% chance of rain and thunderstorms.

2. 9/11 Memorial Gets a Date for its Unvealing

Troy Neubecker's 9/11 Memorial is set to be unvealed on September 11 at 6:30 p.m. in front of Town Hall. The unvealing will be apart of a special meeting of Boy Scout Troop 131.

3. Planning Board Set to Meet

The Planning Board will meet tonight at 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall. On tap will be a proposal by Supreme Energy of Weymouth to place three large tanks that would hold a total of 90,000 gallons of propane on a 4.5-acre site on the east side of Route 1.

4. Movies for Children and Teens at the Library

The Fiske's Summer Movie Series for Children and Teens continues today with a showing of the Lorax at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are requiered and are available at the library. The Lorax is rated PG.
