Born in Bryn Mawr, PA, Thomas was the son of the late Percival Thomas and Jean (DiCarlo) Gallagher, and was a graduate of St. Katherine’s School in Wayne , PA.

Thomas worked for Continental Can Co. in Devon , PA. for 28 years, where he served as a Business Manager before moving to Norfolk, MA.

Husband of Charlotte (Brown) Gallagher, whom he married in 1963, he was the father of Gary Thomas Gallagher and his wife Jenny (Palos) of Plainville, and Jill Brown Treeful and her husband Michael of Norfolk. Brother of Barbara McDonnell and Patricia Root, both of Wayne , PA. He is also survived by his granddaughters, Samantha Brown Treeful and Sidney Rae Treeful, and several nieces and a nephew.

Services were held at the R. J. Ross Funeral Home, 135 South St ., Wrentham, on Thursday, January 6, and a funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Jude’s Church, 86 Main Street, Norfolk , MA .
